Rahkaranta, available for rent, is a traditional two-storey Ostrobothnian house with a fully equipped kitchen and ‘tupa’ (a type of living room with a fireplace), and a beautiful terrace. The house has three bedrooms, plus an extra living room upstairs. Rahkaranta can house up to 12 guests.

Rahkaranta is located on scenic Kärnä island, Lake Lappajärvi, amongst atmospheric pine woodlands. A traditional Finnish sauna with a shower is located on the shore, providing stunning views of the vast crater lake. Cool off by dipping into the lake either from a conveniently located pier or directly from the shore, or just relax in the hot tub. Other facilities on the property include a barbecue grill and an authentic outhouse.

Prices: 950 € per week, 500 € per weekend. Rent for the hot tub: 70 €.

Catering services are available via Kokkitupa. Baked goods, cakes, full-course meals and other delicacies are available for pre-order.
